Founded in 1948, Verhoff Alfalfa Mills is a 3rd generation manufacturer of direct dehydrated alfalfa products. Founder, Ray Verhoff established the business through tireless hard work and innovation.  He created an environment for his children to work and grow along with the business.  After his passing, his five boys continued on running the business and managing the farm through many ups and downs.  Surviving and thriving through decades of turbulent ag markets, droughts, floods, and equipment failures.

As the transition to the 3rd generation progresses, Ray’s grandsons have a vision to continue connecting local farms to global markets, by working closely with farmers and land owners to grow premier alfalfa.
